How to log-in to your Interactive Brokers Account under Sarwa?

It usually takes a day or two for Interactive Brokers to open your account after all documents have been submitted by Sarwa.

Once that’s done, you will receive an email from us confirming that the account is opened and ready to receive funds. We will include the detailed funding instructions in the same email.

How to access the IB account?

Below is a step by step guide on how to access the IB account.

  1. On your Sarwa dashboard, under ‘Manage Account’, you will find the credentials for the IB account: they include a Username, a Temporary Password, and a link that will guide you through to the Interactive Brokers platform (We recommend using Google Chrome in Incognito Mode to avoid any errors).

  2. Once you log-in, you will be asked to change the temporary password to a new one that only you can know and to enter three security questions.

  3. You will be asked to verify your phone number via an SMS that will be sent. It might get a bit tricky here as sometimes the SMS is not received. In case you can't receive the SMS please follow step a to c below:

    a. To ease the process, we recommend that you download the IBKR Mobile App from the App Store and log-in from there.

    b. On the home page, there will be a selection where you will have an option to create a 2-Factor authentication through a pin of your choice. This way you will no longer need to get an SMS every time you want to log-in through the Desktop version.

    c. Call IB directly on any of the numbers on this page.
During the early hours of the day, we do recommend that you call on the Indian line
    : +91 22 61289888, dial 3 for log-in Assistance, and dial 2 for security devices.
They’ll ask you to confirm your account number and the security questions you have created. Once in, they’ll provide you with the Code Manually and guide you to set-up the Mobile Application’s Two-Factor Authentication so that this way you will no longer require the SMS verification.

  4. You are all done! Now, you can simply create a pin on the mobile application in order to access the Desktop Version.
