How do I fund my Sarwa account if I bank with Wio?

You can fund with Wio, via Open Finance. Follow the instructions below to get started:

1. Go to the Fund tab and tap Fund with a UAE bank account
2. Select your bank (Wio) from the list
3. Enter the amount you'd like to deposit
4. Press on deposit, and the press on Pay will AlTareq
5. You'll be redirected to your bank's portal, where you'll need to authorise the transfer
6. Once authorised, you'll be automatically redirected back to the Sarwa app with a confirmed successful transfer
7. Once the transfer is successful, the bank account will be linked to your Sarwa account.

Please note: The maximum transfer amount per transaction is AED 50,000. If you need to transfer a larger amount, you can simply initiate multiple transactions.

For example, two transfers of AED 50,000 and AED 30,000 for a total of AED 80,000. Alternatively, you can fund your account via a direct bank wire transfer at any time.
