You have two options when placing an overnight order:
- Day – Your order stays active through the overnight, pre-market, regular, and after-hours sessions of that trading day. If it's not filled by 8:00 PM ET, it's automatically cancelled.
- GTC (Good Till Cancelled) – Your order stays open across multiple trading sessions until it's filled or you cancel it manually.
