Price alerts are notifications that will help you track the price movements for stocks, ETFs and Crypto assets that you hold in your positions or watchlist.

How do price alerts work

Price alerts will notify you if a stock or ETF experiences a significant price change since the last closing price or for a cryptocurrency in the last 24 hours.

The alert will be sent to you when the asset has had a price movement of 5%, 10%, 20% or higher during that time frame. Whenever a new threshold is met a notification will be sent, however the system has been built to avoid sending similar notification multiple times and will not notify you if the same movement has been experienced twice during the last 24h.

How do I set up price alert?

In the app go to Account Settings -> Notifications and toggle the alerts type you want to be notified for.

You can toggle:

  • Stock and ETF alert in your positions which will notify you of significant price movements of Stock and ETFs currently in your open positions
  • Stock and ETF alerts in your watchlists which will notify you of significant price movements of Stock and ETFs currently in any of your watchlists
  • Crypto alert in your positions which will notify you of significant price movements of Cryptos currently in your open positions
  • Crypto alerts in your watchlists which will notify you of significant price movements of Cryptos currently in any of your watchlists

*Note that your general push notification setting needs to be enabled to turn on price alert notifications.
