Why can't I withdraw to my bank account?

In the case where you are receiving a popup on the Sarwa app stating your withdrawal could not be processed to your selected bank, this would be due to two reasons:

  • You have yet to fund via wire transfer from this bank before. You must fund from the bank via wire transfer (not a debit card) to withdraw to that account.
  • A high recorded rate of rejections from this particular bank. These rejections result from those banks' internal policies and is actioned by them. Sarwa has no control over these rejections.

An important note on KSA (Saudi) banks:

  • You can withdraw from Sarwa Trade to your KSA bank directly. This applies only to withdrawals from Sarwa Trade to KSA Banks as we can process the withdrawal directly from our partners for Sarwa Trade to your bank in KSA.
  • Withdrawals from Sarwa Save and Sarwa Invest to KSA banks are still blocked except for ENBD KSA. To process these withdrawals, transfer the funds to Sarwa Trade first and then withdraw from there.
    • Error Message: If your withdrawal is blocked, you will see the following message:

      "Withdrawal from [Bank] cannot be processed from your Invest or Save account due to previous rejections recorded from this bank. To facilitate and ensure the success of your withdrawal, you can process a withdrawal to an ENBD KSA account, or to any KSA bank from a Sarwa Trade account. Please contact our support team for more information."

Fees for Withdrawing from Sarwa Trade:
Withdrawing from Sarwa Trade directly to a KSA bank will incur a fee of $35 for the transfer. This fee will be deducted from your Sarwa Trade account and displayed according to the screenshot below.
