What is Sarwa's referral program?

Refer a friend to Sarwa, and both of you will receive up to 3000 AED bonus each in your Sarwa accounts!

The Referral program described below applies across Sarwa accounts (Invest, Trade, Save):

What are the steps?

1. If you are an existing Sarwa client, share your referral code or link with a friend to use during the sign-up process (Referred Friend). The code/link can be found in your Sarwa account.
2. Your Referred Friend must meet the minimum qualifying investment (500 USD) within 90 days of registration. (This can be done via a one-time transfer or multiple transfers.)
3. Once they've funded, you'll both automatically be credited at least AED 100 and up to AED 3,000 based on their deposit tiers to your account selected below.
4. The referral bonus will be added to both of your accounts within 30 business days of meeting the requirements. 
5. The referral bonus is tiered to different deposit milestones: the more your friend funds, the more both of you earn. The tiers are shown in the table below:

• When your Referred Friend reaches their first milestone, you both receive that tier’s bonus.
• If they’ve already unlocked a lower tier and later reach a higher one, you both receive the difference between the two tiers.
• Payouts apply to any milestones reached within the first 90 days of registering.
  

• Who qualifies as a Referred Friend?
  
  Anyone opening a new Sarwa account using your referral code or referral link during sign up. Referral codes cannot be added after the account is already created.

• Where do I find my referral code?
  
  On the mobile app, click on the Rewards section in the bottom navigation bar.
  On the web browser, click Get AED 500 at the top right hand side of your dashboard.

• How much needs to be funded to start earning rewards?
  
  A total of 500 dollars must be funded within 90 days to unlock the first reward. If your Referred Friend adds more than 500 dollars, they move up the tiers and both of you earn higher bonuses.

• How much can we earn?
  
  Both you and your Referred Friend can earn between 100 AED and 3000 AED depending on how much your friend funds. Higher funding unlocks higher tiers.

• When will we receive the bonus?
  
  Within 30 business days after your Referred Friend reaches their qualifying investment or any higher tier.

• What if my Referred Friend reaches a higher tier later?
  
  Both of you will receive the difference between the previously unlocked tier and the new tier. Earlier rewards are never lost as long as the next tier is reached within 90 days of registering or applying the referral code.

• Why does my referral bonus appear smaller than the tier amount?
  
  Referral rewards are paid in stages. You receive the first tier once your Referred Friend reaches it. If they later reach a higher tier, only the difference is added. The most recent payout may therefore be a top up rather than the full tier amount.

• Can the Referred Friend withdraw their deposit after receiving the bonus?
  
  Yes, withdrawals are allowed. However, if the account balance falls below the minimum retention balance required to keep the bonus for 12 months, the bonus may be revoked and deducted from both accounts.

• Does this apply to all Sarwa accounts?
  
  Yes, the total of all deposits across Invest, Trade, and Save accounts counts toward the bonus tiers.

• Can joint account holders use this program?
  
  No, joint accounts are excluded.

• Are all Referred Friends eligible for the tiered bonus?
  
  Referred Friends who registered or applied a referral code before 26 November 2025 are only eligible for a 500 AED payout when funding 500 dollars. Tiered bonuses do not apply to this group.

Referral Program Terms and Conditions:

• The Sarwa Referral Program offers a Referral Bonus to clients who refer a Referred Friend using a unique code entered during onboarding (referral codes cannot be added retroactively after the account has been opened).
• The Referred Friend must meet a Qualifying Investment of $500 within 90 days of the code being applied via one-time or multiple transfers to be eligible for the minimum payout of the program. The minimum payout is 100 AED and can go up to 3000 AED per client.
• The payout amount depends on the total amount funded by the Referred Friend in the 90 days after applying the referral code. Higher deposits unlock higher payouts if applicable to the user’s eligibility window.
• Referral Bonuses are typically paid out within 30 days of eligibility and must remain in the account for 12 months, or they will be deducted from the final withdrawal amount.

Retention Requirement:

• Both the Referrer and the Referred Friend must keep both the Qualifying Investment and the Referral Bonus in their accounts for a minimum retention period of 12 months in order to keep the bonus eligible.
• If a withdrawal reduces the balance below the required threshold, Sarwa may initiate a review and claw back process.
• If a client withdraws funds, reducing their Net Balance below the Minimum Retention Balance, and has received a Referral Bonus within the prior retention period, Sarwa may review the withdrawal to ensure compliance with program terms.
• If the referral bonus becomes ineligible due to actions that do not comply with the Referral Program terms, reinvesting the funds will not requalify the account for the reward.

Exclusions & Restrictions

• This program excludes Joint Account Holders.
• Sarwa reserves the right to amend, delay, suspend, or cancel the Referral Bonus without notice and may revoke it, with potential account closure, for suspected fraud, abuse, or system manipulation.
• The referral bonus is only applied when opening a new Sarwa account.
• Closing an account and reopening it does not qualify for the referral bonus.
• If you registered without a referral code, closing your account to register again will not allow you to use a code.
