How do I set up OTP and how does it work?
The 2FA feature is seamlessly set up for you. Upon logging in, you will automatically receive a One-Time Passcode (OTP) via your registered email address with Sarwa. Simply enter this code on the app to proceed with your login.
How do I disable the OTP feature?
OTP is added for the safety and security of your account- we do recommend keeping OTP enabled. However, you have the option to disable OTP.
To do so, please follow the instructions below:
- Via Web: Manage Account-> Security-> Turn Off 2 Factor Authentication
- Via Mobile: Account Settings-> Security-> Turn Off 2 Factor Authentication
Do I need to use OTP every time I log in?
For maximum security, OTP must be used for every login on both the web and app platforms. This ensures the protection of your account. However, if you have biometrics enabled on the app, you will not need to use OTP for every login. This allows for a more streamlined login experience while maintaining the necessary level of security.
